ARRON VILLAFLOR is proud to be a part of ABS-CBN’s new teleserye, “The Greatest Love”, a tribute to mothers seen at 6 PM. “I play Tita Sylvia Sanchez’ second son, si Paeng, na may kimkim na sama ng loob sa kanya,” he says. “My dad is Rommel Padilla, a musician in the story, and just like him, naging musician din ako.”
Arron was discovered when he joined Star Circle Teen Quest in 2004 when he was 14 years old. He was a runner up but in 2006, he became the winner when he joined the dance contest “U Can Dance”. He has since done several soaps, like ‘Sana Maulit Muli’, ‘Dahil May Isang Ikaw’, “Tiny Tony”, where he played supporting roles. One of his biggest roles is in “Juan de la Cruz” where he played villain to Coco Martin. He also did important roles in “Pure Love” and “All of Me”. On the big screen, his biggest role was in “Heneral Luna” where he played a young journalist.
He’s currently being linked to PBB recruit Dawn Chang, his co-host in a segment in “Umagang Kay Ganda” where they call each other Baby Love. “We do go out together, kumakain kami. Marami kaming napapagkasunduang maraming bagay, but hindi ako nanliligaw sa kanya. Kasi sinabihan din niya akong hindi pa siya ready dahil she just came from another relationship at kabe-break lang nila.”
He was also linked then to Yen Santos when they were doing “All of Me”. “We’re good friends, up to now. Kaya lang hindi na kami nagkikita kasi busy siya with her own new show and busy naman ako with ‘The Greatest Love’. Mas mabuti na rin yung trabaho muna ang harapin namin, lalo ngayon, maraming mabibigat na eksena itong ‘Greatest Love’ kasi it’s about a mother, her children, their conflicts as a family. Ayaw ng mother ko rito na maging musician din ako like my dad kasi ayaw niyang magaya ako sa ama ko na walang narating sa buhay. Kaso, wala siyang magagawa kasi, just like my dad, music is my passion. Hopefully, maraming anak na makapanood dito sa show namin para ma-realize nilang kahit anupang mangyari, your mom is your mom at dapat na lagi nating bigyan ng pagpapahalaga ang pagmamahal nila sa atin.”
