Juancho Trivino Takes A Leave From 'Unang Hirit' To Concentrate On His Role As Elfino In 'Magkaibang Mundo'

JUANCHO TRIVINO says one of the most fulfilling things that ever happened to him lately is seeing his huge picture on the billboard of his hit show, “Magkaibang Mundo”, on EDSA. “Noong una kong makita yun, I really felt proud of myself,” he beams. “Kasi ngayon lang ako nabigyan ng lead role kaya ngayon din lang ako napasali sa ganung kalaking billboard, with Louise de los Reyes. Doon ko lalong na-realized that acting is what I really want to do and I’m praying this is just the start at mabigyan pa ako ng more good projects in the future. But I’m not resting on my laurels. Naisip kong it also means there’s a lot of hard work for me to prove to GMA management and to the viewing public that I deserve this billboard.”

His fans miss him in “Unang Hirit”, where his segment is Juancho Gwapito. What happened? “I have to quit muna kasi ang hirap. Ang aga ng ‘Unang Hirit’ as a morning show. Kung minsan, required na ko report at 1 AM. E, ang taping namin ng ‘Magkaibang Mundo’ usually ends 5 or 6 AM na, so may conflict talaga. I just hope payagan pa rin nila akong bumalik sa ‘Unang Hirit’ after matapos ang run ng ‘Magkaibang Mundo’.”
