After PBB, she made the rounds of various ABS-CBN shows and was cast as a mainstay in “Shoutout” in 2011 and later, “Mula Sa Puso”. She also did several episodes of MMK and GMA-7’s “Maynila”. She also played supporting roles in “Angelito”, “Apoy sa Dagat”, “Maria Mercedes”, “Moon of Desire”, “You’re My Home”. She’s now being seen regularly in the hit morning soap, “Be My Lady”.
She has also appeared in several movies, doing supporting roles in Star Cinema’s “The Reunion”, “Maybe This Time”, “Halik sa Hangin”, “Everything About Her” and Regal’s “Haunted Mansion” and “I Love You to Death”.
She’s the original ka-love team of James Reid after PBB when they were paired in “Good Vibes”. How does she feel now that James is a top matinee idol and found a new partner in Nadine Lustre? “Honestly, I’m very happy for him. Nagkahiwalay kami when he left ABS and moved to Viva at ako naman, I was paired with Sam Concepcion in ‘Angelito’. Everything happens naman daw for a reason, di ba? Last weekend, we finally saw each other again ni James after three years in ‘Showtime’ kasi he’s promoting their show. I congratulated him for his success.”
How does she feel now that Mother Lily signed her up to a contract and will be given a lead role in the possible Metro Filmfest entry, “Pwera Usog”, a horror movie? “I was so happy when I was informed na Regal is getting me. Mangiyak-ngiyak nga ako sa tuwa and I promise I will do my very best at ibubuhos ko lahat ng makakaya ko sa projects nila for me.”
How does she feel that she’s one of the top winners of PBB 2010 but Yen Santos, who’s one of the housemates evicted early in the show, is now a bigger star than her and even paired with Piolo Pascual? “I’m happy for her. Aminado naman akong mas magaling si Ate Yen kaysa sa’kin kasi ilang beses na rin siyang nabigyan ng lead roles sa soaps sa ABS. Hindi ako naiinggit. Basta I just use it as motivation para mas lalo kong paghusayin ang trabaho ko."
