Rhian said she really felt pressured in doing Clara. “Ayokong ma-compare kami kasi nakakahiya,” she adds. “She’s one of our country’s best actresses at sobrang dami na ng awards that she collected through the years. So no one else can fill her shoes kasi nag-iisa lang siya. Kaya nga what I did is to do the role in my own way kasi I don’t want be to be accused na nanggagaya lang ako. And I’m so happy na so far, maganda naman ang feedback sa performance ko. Even our director, Ricky Davao, says happy siya with the way I’m doing the role of Clara.”
As the battered wife of Rafael Rosell in the story, Rhian is subjected to many “bugbugan” scenes in the show. “But in all fairness to Rafael, alalay lang siya sa akin sa mga eksenang sinasaktan niya ako. I told him puede niyang totohanin yung mga sampal, I wouldn’t mind. But he remains to be very gentle and very careful.”
