“Yun kasi ang instruction sa akin noon,” he says. “Umalis na lang agad para maiwasan na ang anumang pagtatanong about it.”
So how did he feel about it then? “I just let it go. Kasi nandiyan na, e. I didn’t know who uploaded it, but hindi ko na mapipigil, so hinayaan ko na lang.”
What lessons did he learn from the experience? “To be more careful sa lahat ng ginagawa mo.”
He’s thankful to GMA for backing him up. “Mula nang manalo ako sa ‘Protege’, hindi naman nila ako pinababayaan. Tuloy-tuloy ang projects ko. Since last year, I did ‘Pari Koy’, ‘Destiny Rose’, ‘Once Again’ and now, ‘Oh My Mama’. Panay rin ang guestings ko sa ‘Magpakailanman’, ‘Karelasyon’ and ‘Wagas’. So nagpapasalamat talaga ako sa lahat ng suporta.”
Jeric is also a good singer and dreams of having his own album some day. “First love ko talaga ang music, I can also play the guitar, pero sa ngayon daw, mas mabuti kung tutok muna ako sa acting. But someday, sana mabigyan ako ng album. Kinukuha nga ako ng Universal Records but wala pang permiso ang GMA as of now.”
One thing we notice with Jeric is he looks so much better in person. On screen, he’s not that impressive. Maybe he should get a good stylist or cinematographer to bring out the best in him on screen and make him more photogenic.
