Joem Bascon Says His Sexy Love Scene In 'Siphayo' With Nathalie Hart Shot In A Cornfield Is Very Difficult To Shoot

JOEM BASCON does a love scene with Nathalie Hart in “Siphayo (Dismay)” that’s bound to be talked about. “We did it in a cornfield,” he says. “Yung ibang love scenes niya kasi, it’s in the bedroom, sa kama, so kami, para maiba, sa taniman ng mais. Mahirap, huh. May mga tumutusok-tusok sa likod namin. Very uncomforable. Sobrang makati kaya. Yun ang gusto ni Direk Joel Lamangan, e. But it’s all worth it. Abangan nyo pag lumabas yung movie, you'd see na talagang naiiba siya.”

Joem is currently celebrating his 10th anniversary as an actor. He first joined showbiz in 2006 when he did the movie “All About Love” and the TV show “Let’s Go”. “Since then, I never stopped. Lagi akong may trabaho sa TV man or sa movies. Sa TV, sunod-sunod kong ginawa yung ‘Walang Iwanan’, ‘Pangako Sa’Yo’, then nasama ko sa ‘Ang Probinsyano’ at suki rin ako sa ‘Ipaglaban Mo’. Sa movies, sunod-sunod ko ring ginawa ang ‘Heneral Luna’, ‘Haunted Mansion’, ‘Just the Three of Us’, ‘Kusina’ and now, itong ‘Siphayo’. So, happy ako, di ako nababakante.”


With regard to his lovelife, he’s been on with Trisha Uy, a TV commercial model for some years now. Have they talked about settling down? “Medyo. Siempre, medyo nagkakaedad na rin ako. 30 na ako noong birthday ko on August 28. But then, kailangan munang paghandaan yan. Hindi puedeng sugod ka lang ng sugod.”

Is he happy with the way his career is going? He seems to be playing most supporting roles. “Happy naman ako. Let’s be practical. Basta ang importante, may work lagi. Kung masyado kang choosy at puro lead roles ang hahanapin mo tapos wala namang dumarating, mas mabuti na yung support ka lang basta active ka and you have steady work naman.”
