Carla herself wrote on her social media account to prove she’s not at all jealous, even posting a photo of Tom and Lovi kissing. She wrote: “You two are doing a great job. Sulit ang lahat ng paulit-ulit na takes, lahat ng effort, lahat ng luhang iniyak, lahat ng pagod, lahat ng pagpupuyat. Beautiful story and even more beautiful execution. Kudos to the entire cast and crew…”
Lovi later on wrote back: “Thank you Carla. I know kailangan sa trabaho natin na maging understanding tayo.. but to you it’s not even needed, because it’s simply in your nature. Thank you for being so supportive! Mwahhh!”
In “Someone to Watch Over Me”, Tom’s alzheimer’s disease as TJ gets worse. He takes their baby, Joshua, with him to the grocery store then forgets about the boy and goes home alone. It’s good an old woman finds their baby boy and returns him to them. Tom finally admits to Lovi as Joanna that he is sick and she forgives him for all his acts of negligence. Lovi’s brother, Ralph Noriega as Jepoy, tells her not to reveal this yet to their parents but they learn about it anyway.
Even in his workplace, Tom has become quite a problem as he doesn’t even recognize their boss anymore and is hostile to everyone. He wants to leave his family as his memories now focus on his former girlfriend, Max Collins as Irene. He starts having hallucinations, goes to her home and loses consciousness right on her doorstep. In fairness to Tom, through all the difficult and emotionally draining scenes, he manages to be very convincing without resorting to hysteria.
