Jennylyn Mercado Not Ready To Settle Down For The Next Six Years, But It's Okay With Dennis Trillo

JENNYLYN MERCADO has been quoted saying she won’t get married yet, not in the next six years. How does her BF Dennis Trillo feel about this? Is he willing to wait that long? “Wala namang problema sa paghihintay,” he says at the presscon of his new movie, “Bakit Lahat ng Guwapo, May Boyfriend?” “Mas mabuti yun kaysa magmadali. Kundi ka pa talaga ready, don’t do it.”

After being paired with one of his crushes, Heart Evangelista, in “Juan Happy Love Story”, he’s now paired with another actress who he has long been wanting to work with, Anne Curtis. So how is it working with Anne in “Bakit Lahat ng Guwapo, May Boyfriend?”

“When they first offered me this project, tinanggap ko agad. Noon ko pa kasi talaga dream to work with Anne, kaya lang nga, we belong to different networks. Finally, heto, nangyari na and we’re both happy about it. Nagkasundo kami agad kasi magaan siyang katrabaho, laging good vibes kaya masaya kami sa set.”

In the film, he plays the boyfriend of Yam Concepcion and they got Anne Curtis to be their wedding coordinator. Anne also falls for Dennis, along with her best gay friend, Paolo Ballesteros. Has he been propositioned by a gay in real life?

“Yes, but I always say na pasencia na, hindi ko masusuklian whatever they feel for me. Nirerespeto ko rin naman sila. We’re all human beings at hindi ko sila babastusin. Pero sana, i-respect din nila kung anong preference ko.”

If Direk Jun Lana required him to have a kissing scene with Paolo Ballesteros in the movie, would he do it? “Why not? Nagawa ko na naman yan before in ‘Aishite Imasu’ with Jay Manalo and I won so many awards. Basta sa ikagaganda ng movie, okay lang.”
