“I really prepare well for my scenes with them, kasi pareho silang dalawa, nakapagaling na artista and they both inspire me to be a better actress,” says Max. “Tom’s role as someone who loses his memory at a very young age is so demanding kasi it requires physical, mental and emotional challenges for him. Napakahirap noon at nagugulat ako sa husay niya kapag kaeksena ko siya. Si Lovi naman, her acting style is very raw, natural, no artifices, so mararamdaman mo talaga. Kapag umiiyak siya sa eksena, ako mismo, naaawa sa kanya kaya naiiyak rin ako. Nadadala ako ng husay ng acting niya kaya dapat tapatan mo siya. Eventually, magkakasama kaming tatlo sa loob ng iisang bahay at matatanggap ni Lovi yun for the sake of her love for her husband. Nakakaawa talaga yung character niya.”
She has some love scenes with Tom. Did she ask the permission first of her boyfriend, Pancho Magno, before doing it? “Alam na niya even before we started taping na may love scenes ako with Tom. Wala kaming conflict diyan kasi pareho kaming artista and we understand it’s part of our job. Pero hindi na lang siya nanonood kapag may love scene ako.”
She says Pancho and her will be celebrating their fourth anniversary of being together on October 10. “So far, so good. Mabait si Pancho and I appreciate yung pagiging supportive niya sa career ko.”
This week, Tom gets disoriented once again and asks his driver to take her to the house of Max. He kisses her but he tells him to go away. At home, Tom calls Lovi using Max’ name, Irene. Max tells Tom that she is going back to America but he hugs her and she runs away. Lovi is fed up and rushes to Max’ home to confront her.
