BARON GEISLER is controversial once again for urinating on the face of his co-star, Ping Medina, in the shoot of the movie, “Bubog”. Baron said he asked the permission of their director, Arlyn de la Cruz, who says all Baron said was “May gagawin ako, direk”, without clarifying that what he’ll do is to answer the call of nature on the face of his co-actor who was all tied up in that scene as Baron was supposed to be torturing him.
Of course, Ping was irate when he realized what Baron was doing to him. He cannot move but after the take, he slapped Baron repeatedly. Baron obviously needs professional help. Whatever his excuse is, what he did is just plain sick. Even Liza Dino Seguerra, head of FDCP, sided with Ping Medina. This is what her latest post on this case says:
“Baron did this appalling act without his co-actor's consent.
This is not the first time that Baron committed something like this. Alam nating lahat yan. So how could you give one the benefit of the doubt when he has countlessly offended co-actors sa set? -Harassment against women. -Nakikipagbugbugan. At ngayon, inihian sa mukha ang co-actor nyang nakatali at walang chance mag-react at magpumiglas?
Please enlighten me if there is any justification in this.
Some people say he's probably sick, or bipolar or kung anuman. Well then he should get treatment first and get clearance before he can be allowed to work.
Baron, You have been getting away with this behavior far too long. That is precisely why I am saying something about this. You were given a free pass, look where it brought you? You are endangering the safety and well being of your colleagues. This is where the line is drawn. I will not allow this. Not under my watch.
As head of this film council, I have a responsibility to this industry. And it is to make sure that we can all work safely together ng may respeto sa bawat isa. You should be sanctioned.”
