THE FANS of Janella Salvador’s love team, called by their fans as MarNella, with Marlo Mortel are happy because they’re together again in the Regal Metro filmfest entry, “Mano Po 7: Chinoy”. The last time they were paired was in “Haunted Mansion”, an entry in the filmfest last year that was a blockbuster hit, earning almost P150 million at the box office.
A lot of people were surprised when Janella was suddenly separated by ABS-CBN from Marlo, where their love started in “Be Careful with My Heart”, and she was abruptly paired with Elmo Magalona who just moved in from GMA-7. As we all know by now, the ElNella tandem with Elmo in “Born for You” was not as successful so it didn’t last very long on the air.Now, we heard that despite the lukewarm reception of viewers to the ElNella love team, they will be paired again in another sitcom that will start airing in 2017. “Paano, yung show na ipinalita sa kanila, ‘Till I Met You’ ng JaDine, mas mababa pa ang rating kaysa sa ‘Born for You’,” says our source. “Nag-single digit nga sa rating, which never happened sa ‘Born for You’. So abangan nila ang pagbabalik ng ElNella on primetime.”
