SARAH LAHBATI was on her way to big stardom at GMA after she was launched in “Kokak” when she rebelled and she also got pregnant and had Baby Zion. Now, she’s slowly showing her presence again and we’re glad she’s given a second chance as she’s only 23 years old and really has the qualities of a promising star and actress. She not only looks very good on screen but can also act well.
As of now, she has just finished a new movie, “Kamandag ng Droga”, directed by Carlo J. Caparas and made in support of Pres. Duterte’s drive against the drug menace. She co-stars with Christopher de Leon, Lorna Tolentino, Meg Imperial, Mark Neumann, among others. She has also started a new movie with Director Erik Matti for Reality Entertainment. We heard ABS-CBN is likewise preparing a new show for her. Well and good, we’re happy for Sarah. As for her inamorato, Richard Gutierrez, he has also just finished “Miracles are Forever”, where he plays a soldier who miraculously survives the infamous Mamasapano Massacre. We’re hoping Richard will soon also go back on primetime TV as his star wattage has not at all lessened even if he’s now a young dad.
Sarah is getting along fine even with her prospective mother in law, who she considers her second mom. When Annabelle celebrated her birthday recently at Resorts World's Maxim Hotel, Sarah sang "Le Vie en Rose" for her, in its original French version, for which she got a hearty round of applause from all the guests.
