The third child of former Governor & Ambassador Benjaim Romualdez, Martin turned 53 on November 14 but he looks younger than his age. He remains to be the national president of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats and of the Philippine Constitution Association or PhilConsa. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Cornell University in New York and a Special Studies certificate in administration from Harvard. He also obtained a law degree from U.P.

“It was at the home of her grandfather, Democrito Mendoza, that I first met her. By the time she won, may M.U. na kami. When she went to Tokyo to compete at the Miss International pageant, she had a problem with her luggage. Overloaded daw. So I ended up going to Tokyo as her alalay, and also to give her support.”
What’s Yedda’s most endearing quality? “She’s a total package. Maganda na, mabait pa, a great wife to me and good mom to our kids. Very caring, kasi she’s a registered nurse. Very loving and nurturing. Beautiful inside and outside and yet she remains very humble.”
