Khalil Ramos Was Discovered As A Singer In 'Pilipinas Got Talent' But Has Since Forgotten Singing And Is Now More Into Acting

KHALIL RAMOS registers well in “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2”. He plays Lennon, the new production assistant, and it’s a non-speaking role. “Mahirap siya kasi all my emotions and reaction, ipinapakita ko lang through my facial expressions and body language,” he says.

Khalil is a discovery of “Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3" in 2012. The grand winner is Maasinhon Trio which has since faded back into oblivion. Khalil was just a runner up, but he’s very active in showbiz up to now. Since he got matinee idol good looks, he was given the chance to act in various episodes of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and in soaps like “Princess and I”, “Anna Liza” and “Pangako Sa’Yo”.

He also did a lot of movies like “She’s Dating the Gangster”, “Shake Rattle & Roll 15”, “Kid Kulafu”, “A Second Chance”, “Honor Thy Father”, “Everything About Her”, “Achy Breaky Hearts” and the Cinema One entry where he played the lead, “2 Cool 2B4Gotten”. Now he is happy to be part of the Metro Filmfest entry “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2”. After this, he’ll next be seen in an indie flick, “Ang Kasunduan”, and the horror flick, “Bloody Crayons”. He’s also in the new Kapamilya soap, “A Love to Last”, where he plays Ronnie Alonte’s rival over Julia Barretto. He’s glad that ABS-CBN is building him as a solo actor not allied with any love team.

“I think it’s nice na makatayo ka on your own at ma-build up ng sarili mo lang,” he says. “And I want to thank ABS-CBN for being continuously supportive of me at napapahiram ako sa ibang companies like Regal, Reality Entertainment and now, Quantum Films for ‘Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2’.

Now 20 years old, Khalil says he’s current loveless. “My last relationship was a year ago pa. I realized that mas mabuting magseryoso sa career at dito muna ako mag-focus.”
