Yearender 2016 - Part 3: Love Affairs At The Kapuso Network

At the Kapuso network, love bloomed between Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana after they did “My Husband’s Lover” and “My Destiny”. They were also paired in the movie “No Boyfriend Since Birth”. At first, they said they were just exclusively dating but this year, they officially admitted that they’re indeed going steady and are now together in the U.S. with Tom's family.



Another couple who were linked to each other but finally admitted their romance officially only this year is Miss World 2013 Megan Young and Mikael Daez.

Max Collins and Pancho Magno also finally confessed this year that they’ve been together for quite sometime now.


Another pair of Kapuso lovebirds who owned up to their relationship are Mark Herras and Winwyn Marquez and they just celebrated Mark’s recent 30th birthday in Boracay a couple of weeks ago.

Julie Anne San Jose and Benjamin Alves also got cozy after they did a music video. They’re now paired in the new soap “Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa”. 

Meantime, their co-star in the same soap, LJ Reyes, has found love in Paolo Contis. LJ has a son with Paulo Avelino while Paolo has two daughter with former Sexbomb dancer Lian Paz.

Another Kapuso actress, Louise de los Reyes, is now lovey-dovey with Hale band’s main singer Champ Lui Pio.


Kapuso stars Barbie Forteza and Kiko Estrada got cozy while doing the soap “That’s My Amboy”. Barbie quickly admitted their relationship but Kiko seems to be shy about it and denied it. Reporters quickly concluded, “Hindi magtatagal yan.” And that’s exactly what happened.

Valeen Montenegro was reported to be the cause of the break up of Ciara Sotto’s marriage to TV exec Jojo Oconer, but she says she has a non-showbiz boyfriend, a Filipino-Spanish guy named Selu Lozano.
