“It’s a memorable trip kasi while we were there, that’s when their former leader, Fidel Castro, passed and we saw the Cubans mourning for him,” says Lovi who’s also getting another offer from Regal after her recent movie with them, “The Escort”, hit it big at the box office.
Now, she and Tom are back in taping more new episodes for “Someone to Watch Over Me”. They’ll be taping non-stop until a few days before Christmas, then they have to take a Christmas vacation as Tom will be flying to America to spend the holidays with his family there, especially with his dad who’s battling the big C. They will resume their taping after the New Year when Tom has returned to Manila.
This week in “Someone to Watch Over Me”, Edu Manzano as Buddy, the dad of Tom as TJ, tries his best to bring back past memories of his son, but he fails to do so as Tom still cannot remember his wife Lovi as Joanna. Lovi shows him their wedding video but he thinks it’s fake. Tom runs amuck and even gets hold of a knife. His friend Boy2 Quizon as Paolo tries to pacify him, but he ends up being stabbed by Tom so he’s rushed to the hospital.
Lovi decides to seek the help of Max Collins as Irene since she is the one who Tom remembers. The doctor says Tom’s Alzheimer’s disease is now irreversible. Tom is very happy when he sees Max. Lovi feels so sad but she cannot do anything about it but accept the fact that Tom now loves Max more than her, even if she’s his real wife. Tom asks Max never to leave him again.
