Yearender 2016 - Part 1: Showbiz Romances -Those Who Fell In Love, Reconciled, Got Engaged, Got Married


BEFORE THE year is over, let’s take one last look at 2016. As usual, we give what our readers prefer: the report on the colorful love life of our celebrities. In this first part of our yearender, we write abut those who became romantically involved with each other this year, those who got married and those who got officially engaged.

 



Wedding bells rang for three of the so called IT Girls: Solenn Heussaff married live in partner Nico Bolzico in France on May 21. 
 




Georgina Wilson had her wedding with Arthur Burnand in England on April 29. 


Isabelle Daza and groom Adrien Semblatt chose Tuscany, Italy for their nuptials on September 11. 


Cristalle Belo, daughter of Dr. Vicki Belo, also married hotelier Justin Pitt in Lake Como, Italy on September 15.







Vic Sotto finally walked down the aisle with much younger bride and “Eat Bulaga” co-host Pauleen Luna on January 30. TV5 entertainment reporter MJ Marfori also faced the altar with GMA news reporter Oscar Oida on the same date.








Rufa Mae Quinto also tied the knot with Fil-Am balikbayan Trevor Magallanes on November 25 and they’re now waiting for the delivery of their first baby.

 









Karel Marquez married non-showbiz groom at Santuario de San Antonio on December 1. 




Kaye Abad walked down the aisle in Cebu with PBB discovery Paul Jake Castillo just this December 9.

 





Movie, TV and theatre actress Cris Villonco also got hitched and married businessman Paolo Valderrama in May, while former sexpot Francine Prieto married her American molecular biologist groom Frank Shotkotski in Italy last September.
