BARBIE FORTEZA says she’s aware that the show that “Meant to Be” is replacing is a consistent toprater. “Kaya nakaka-pressure kasi dapat, ma-sustain namin ang mataas na rating nito in its time slot,” she says. “But I’m confident na malakas ang laban ng show namin dahil sa lakas ng suporta nina Tita Gloria Romero, Manilyn Reyes, Sheryl Cruz, Tina Paner, Keempee de Leon, Sef Cadayona, Mika de la Cruz and my four leading men na sina Ken Chan, Addy Raj, Jak Roberto and Ivan Dorschner. Ang gaganda rin ng ideas ng director naming si L.A. Madridejos at maraming eksenang katutuwaan ng audience, so hindi nila dapat itong ma-miss.”

Her leading men belong to different nationalities. Ken Chan is Yuan Lee, a Chinese guy with lots of hang ups in life since he is the illegitimate son of a Chinese tycoon and he rebels against his dad.

Jack Roberto is Andoy, the Pinoy guy who comes from a middle class family and is quite shy. Addy Raj is Jay Patel from Mumbai, India and is hyper, doesn’t take life seriously. Ivan Dorschner is Ethan Spencer whose dad is British and has left him a big inheritance.
