“I’m really happy with Grips Hair Wax kasi, being under the public eye, I never go out without fixing my hair,” says Enrique. “Manipis kasi ang strands ng hair ko, so very limp, but with Grips, in just a few minutes it becomes more manageable and easier to style. Mabango pa and it has vitamins pa to nourish my hair to prevent hair fall. Tapos, it’s so easy to wash pa and very affordable.”
So what’s in store for him and Liza in 2017? “We’re finishing a new movie, ‘My Ex and Why’s’, under Direk Cathy Garcia Molina. It’s our most mature, more realistic roles, totoong-totoo ang story kasi umpisa pa lang, nag-break na kami. And all our lines, galing talaga sa mga linya ng real life couples who broke up. It’ll be shown this February na. After that, we will have a new soap. Pero bago yun, we will be guesting muna in another big show pero sa pilot week lang. So our fans have a lot to watch out for from us this year.”
Liza turned 19 on January 4 and his gift to her was a very expensive bag with a famous brand name. Does he always give lavish gifts to her? “No, ngayon lang. Kasi alam ko she wants to have that bag, but she’s a breadwinner, so her priority is her family kaya tinitipid niya ang sarili niya. I felt na she’s deserving naman of that kind of bag, so I ordered it for her from Italy. But for other friends, I usually give normal stuff lang, not that expensive.”
So, they’re officially on now? “No, close friends pa rin lang kami. Kasi 19 siya, 24 na ako, I don’t want to rush things din naman. Alam ko, may iba pa siyang priorities, e. At hindi naman importante yung label. Pero kung kami na talaga, I will announce it myself sa buong mundo. Ako pa ba? I’ll be proud to announce it myself. Dapat nga, magkasama kami sa Japan with her family noong New Year. May ticket na ako. Kaya lang, hindi na-release yung visa ko, e nag-holiday na ang Japanese Embassy so hindi na-release. Sayang nga, e.”
