Jericho’s career really peaked during the heydays of his love team with Kristine Hermosa when they did the big hit that was “Pangako Sa’Yo” and one blockbuster movie after another. It waned when he left Star Magic and was managed by another company, but he was able to recover when he returned to Star Magic. His getting married to Kim Jones didn’t lessen his leading man status and he did successful soaps like “The Legal Wife” and “Bridges of Love”, and also the acclaimed blockbuster film “Walang Forever” for Quantum Films that even gave him a best actor award.
Jericho and Kim have been married for three years but they still don’t have a baby, by choice. “It’s not our priority. We’ll have the right time for that. Kim is still very young at ako naman, I have big plans this year. I want to go and study on how to produce and make films, sana sa New York, kung puede. Kung di puede, sa U.P. para mas malapit. Sana payagan ako ng ABS. I see myself as a producer and director in the future.”
Meantime, after his soap “Magpahanggang Wakas”, he’s all set to start a new movie with Viva, “Luck at First Sight”.
