He has no plans of clashing head on with GMA or ABS-CBN. “We’re a state owned station so iba ang mandate namin kaysa sa commercial networks. What we’re doing now is to reformat our newscast, with a new logo, new graphics. We’re also trying to improve our signal. Before our transmitter was operating at only about 50% so we increased to 90% and we also purchased six digital transmitters to improve our transmission throughout the country. It’s a work in progress.”
