Line Producer Dennis Evangelista Loses Mike De Leon's 'Citizen Jake' Project But Now Produces Four New Big Films No Less, Including Ai Ai De Las Alas' 'Ginalingan, Bes, May Nanalo Na'

DENNIS EVANGELISTA, the line producer of such acclaimed films as "Magkakabaung", "Iadya Mo Kami", "Dukot", was initially the line producer of Mike de Leon's comeback film, "Citizen Jake" starring broadcaster Atom Araullo in his first try at acting. But something happened somewhere and he was suddenly dropped from the project. No worries, though, as he now gets vindicated since he is currently working in four new projects no less.

He is Cineko Production's line producer for "Ginalingan Bes (May Nanalo Na!)", a romantic comedy starring Ai Ai de las and directed by Joel Lamangan, co-starring Carmi Martin and Beauty Gonzales.

Then he's also producing "Bomba", a controversial story starring internationally acclaimed Allen Dizon as a deaf mute who has an affair with a 16-year old girl, played by Angeli Nicole Samoy. This is written and directed by Ralston Jover whose films like "Hamog", "Bendor" and "Bakal Boys" got much acclaim in international film festivals.

His third project is "Fallback" for Jason Paul Laxamana with whom he has worked well before in the Hanoi Filmfest award-winner, "Magkakabaung". They are negotiating for Yassi Pressman and Arjo Atayde to play the lead roles. His fourth project is the prestige film, "La Prostituta", and they are now auditioning actors for the lead roles that will be very demanding as they will require nudity.
