How is the audience's reaction to her acting? “Okay naman so far. Merong nakukulangan, pero sanay na akong kahit anong gawin mo, may masasabi pa rin ang ibang tao. So basta ako, I just give my best then I ask Alden Richards and our co-stars kung anong opinion nila when we do a scene. Tinatanong ko rin po ang director namin, si Irene Villamor, kung satisfied ba siya o gusto niyang i-take two. Pag sinabi nilang okay, mas naniniwala ako roon.”
What about the kilig factor between her and Alden? “I think satisfied naman ang viewers. Kasi kami, we just do things naturally. Kapag may masyadong effort sa pagpapakilig, baka maging trying hard and people would say it’s fake kasi hindi natural.”
Has she talked with Alden about the possibility that they’re really destined to be each other’s sweetheart? “Well, naiisip naman po namin talaga. Kasi, hindi naman kami mapupunta sa TV show na ito on primetime kung hindi dahil sa destiny, e. So yun po, nakatakda talagang magkakilala kami sa Kalyeserye at ngayon, may teleserye pa. Kung anupang mangyayari after that, bahala na si tadhana, si destiny. Huwag na nating pangunahan. Ha ha ha!”
This week, things get more intriguing between Maine as Sinag and Alden as Benjie in "Destined to Be Yours". Maine will file a protest against the building that Alden's firm wants to construct in their town of Pelangi and they will meet at Alden's office in Manila and have a very big clash.
