YEN SANTOS never thought that in the very first movie she will ever do, “Northern Lights: A Journey to Love” that opens this coming Wednesday, her leading man will be no less than Piolo Pascual.
But more than anybody else, she’d like to thank Piolo. “Higit sa lahat talaga, thank you kay Papa P kasi tinanggap niya akong kapareha gayong he could have requested for a more big name leading lady. He was very patient with me kasi noong una, tawa lang ako nang tawa. Tuwing umaga, nagpapauna ako sa service bus namin from our hotel to the location site, kasi gusto kong nakikita siyang lumalabas from the hotel at lumalakad papunta sa sasakyan namin.
And how was she when they did their love scene in the movie? “Kinakabahan siempre. Pero excited. But naitawid naman namin nang maayos. He was such a gentleman at take one lang lahat.”
Direk Dondon Santos says Yen impressed everyone. “Lahat kami, nagustuhan ang acting niya. Very raw, very natural, but she succeeds in delivering all the emotions required of her. Tiyak, masusundan pa itong pelikula niyang ito.”
She dismisses rumors she and Direk Dondon are in a relationship that's why the director got her to star in "Northern Lights".
