RYZA CENON has long been waiting in the wings for stardom ever since she won in Starstruck 2 as the female Ultimate Survivor. Now, she finally achieves it in "Ika-6 na Utos" where she plays the ultimate other woman, Georgia. The series has become such a big hit that it now airs six times a week, up to Saturday, instead of the usual Monday to Friday.
"Ika-6 na Utos" easily eclipsed the ratings of the musical variety shows in the noontime slot, which is quite a mean feat, so it's not surprising that GMA-7 has decided to extend it until the weekend. It quickly gave an exit to Dingdong Dantes' "Case Solved", a docu crime drama that didn't take off since it seems out of place on lazy Saturday afternoons.
"I never expected that 'Ika-6 na Utos' would be this successful," says Ryza. Kahit saan ako magpunta ngayon, people know me now as Georgia. Sabi nga, make hay while the sun shines."
Her co-stars, Gabby Concepcion as Rome and Sunshine Dizon as Emma, both praise her for her effective portrayal of Georgia. What can she say about this? "Thanks, but we owe the success of the show hindi lang sa iisang tao kundi pati sa kanila, sa aming lahat. It's a collaboration naming lahat. Thanks din kay Lord for His blessings at sa lahat ng viewers na sumusubaybay sa journey nina Emma, Rome and Georgia in 'Ika-6 na Utos'. We promise to continue giving our best in every episode."
Right now, viewers are torn on whether Rome and Emma will still reconcile or not. Maski kami mismo, we don't know yet what will happen, so abangan na lang nila.
