CHYNNA ORTALEZA’s last regular show was “The Rich Man’s Daughter” where she played a lesbian. After that, she got married, had a baby girl and it’s only now that she gets to do a new soap again in “Mulawin Vs. Ravena”.
“It’s my choice naman not to work for almost two years so I can focus on being a wife and mom,” she says. “And it’s worth the wait kasi big project naman itong comeback ko at maganda ang role ko as Reyna Rashana, the wife of Dennis Trillo as Haring Gabriel. Bago yung character ko at wala sa original na ‘Mulawin’. May secret yung character ko at unti-unting mare-reveal in the course of the story. May fight scenes ako so I’m preparing physically para mag-action. Also, may wings din ako so I will be in a harness during the flying scenes.”
So how is it being the wife of rocker-actor Kean Cipriano and mom to Baby Stellar? “Okay. We’re happy. We’re both supportive of each other’s careers. So Stellar naman is growing up fast at nagtutulong kami ni Kean sa pag-aalaga sa kanya. Buti na lang at parehong maluwag ang schedule namin so we really devote time for her.”
