GMA Head Writer Suzette Doctolero Apologizes For Saying 'Destined To Be Yours' Is A Flop, But Show Is Surely Ending Its Telecast This Month

GMA HEAD WRITER and creative consultant Suzette Doctolero, who authored past hits like “My Husband’s Lover” and “Amaya”, has formally apologized for her tweets that called the first few weeks of “Destined to Be Yours” a flop. She said: "Wrong choice of words. And for that, i’m sorry that i’ve maligned my own show. Not my intention. I admit i am not good in dealing with the bashers. No further statement. Ready na ako sa consequences. Before this stupidity, i hope i’ve served my network well. Thanks!"

AlDub fans are not satisfied and continue to call for disciplinary action for Suzette. Looks like they want to see her head roll, which is too much, we think. We’re told the most she’d get is a suspension. But the sad fact remains that “Destined to Be Yours” is really ending this May, to be replaced by “My Love from the Star”.

AlDub fans should blame themselves as they’ve divided into factions. If they didn’t fight among themselves and stood firmly united for their idols’ first primetime soap, then maybe it would have rated much higher and would not bow out of the air that fast.

Another GMA show that will end this May is “Encantadia”, which will be replaced by another costume telefantasya, “Mulawin V. Ravena”. This is just to be expected as “Encantadia” has been running on the air for more than half a year now.

Meantime, don’t miss the last few weeks of “Destined to Be Yours” as things get more intriguing and engrossing between Alden Richards as Benjie and Maine Mendoza as Sinag. Thea Tolentino as Trish sees them together and, but naturally, gets terribly jealous. She invites Maine to her yacht for an exclusive party, without Maine knowing that Thea has the secret intention of humiliating and embarrassing her in front of their guests.
