“I’m an actress and when I read the script of Director Jerrold Tarog, I know it will be part of my role. At saka, may tricks na kasama yung frontal scene ko sa movie. We’ll just explain later sa DVD kung ano exactly ang ginawa namin doon sa daring scenes na yun,” she says.
Won’t it affect her endorsements? “I think the advertisers know it’s just part of my work as an actress. Sinabi naman namin sa kanila beforehand and okay lang daw. And as a rule, they’re more concerned with what you do in your own real life off cam kaysa sa what you do as an actress on screen.”
Does this mean she’s ready to go sexy and accept more daring roles? “It will really depend on my role and the material. Hindi naman ibig sabihin, magtutuloy-tuloy na ako na puro ganito ang gagawin ko. Honestly, I’d rather not do it again kasi nga, nagawa ko na. So tama na yun.”Her daring scene is actually with a lesbian nurse (played by newcomer Adrienne Vergara) who’s shown violating her without her consent. How did she feel about it? “Siempre, uncomfortable kasi my relationships are always with guys. I never had the opportunity to be in a relationship with a lesbian. But you know what, I’m just a human being and you fall in love with another human being, not the sexuality of that person, so you never know, di ba?”
She was quoted saying she’ll get married with her BF now, Ben Wintle, in April of next year. “Sinabi ko yun kasi lahat, tanong ng tanong, o kailan ka na pakakasal. But like I’ve said we’ll get married kapag nag-propose na yung boyfriend ko. E, hindi pa naman siya nagpo-propose hanggang ngayon.”
