The voting for fans to show their support to their respective idol is now ongoing and more and more viewers are joining in the game, all rooting for their own “manok”. As for Barbie herself, she remains non-committal about her own personal preference.
“Mahirap na po at baka ma-antagonize ko pa ang ibang fans kaya wait na lang po tayo kung ano ang kalalabasan ng botohan,” she says. “At kung sinuman po yung lalabas na winner, please lang, respetuhin na lang po natin kung sino ang pinakagusto ng mas maraming fans at viewers para wala na lang pong gulo.”
This early, we’re told the show will have a Book 2 since there’s no doubt that it’s an unqualified hit that always tops the ratings in the six months that it was running on the air (it started its telecast on January 9, 2017.) Now, it’s about to be replaced by “I Heart Davao”, starring the love team of Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana and let’s see if they would be able to maintain the high ratings of “Meant to Be”.
As of now, GMA-7 is really pleased with the high ratings of all their primetime shows with its relatable stories about life and love. In Mulawin Vs. Ravena, after witnessing an unjust punishment to a fellow Mulawin named Libero (Kristoffer Martin) who wanted to escape from Avila, Miguel Tanfelix as Pagaspas, Bea Binene as Anya, David Licauco as Malik and Ariel Rivera as Panabon decide it’s time to make a move and regain their freedom. Meanwhile, the King of Halconia, Gabriel (Dennis Trillo), has grown impatient in the search for Derrick Monasterio as Almiro and returns to Tierra Fuego after seven years to look for the “sugo” himself.
In “My Love from the Star”, expect more kilig scenes from Steffi Chavez (Jennylyn Mercado) and Matteo Domingo (Gil Cuerva) while they still constantly bicker over everything. But Matteo is finding it more difficult to resist Steffi’s charms and goes out of his way to keep her safe. Slowly, he is letting go of his being overprotective of himself and falls for Steffi who has become so dependent on him.
