KRISTEL FULGAR started her showbiz career as a child star in soaps like “Bituin” and “Marina” in 2002. Later she joined the cast of “Goin’ Bulilit”. She likewise played important roles in “Kampanerang Kuba”, “Flor de Luna”, “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” and “Mula Sa Puso”. She also did several episodes of “MMK”.
As a teenager, she played supporting roles in “Juan de la Cruz”, “Bagito”, “Got to Believe” “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” and “Pangako Sa’yo”. She also does musical numbers in ASAP. Despite her busy schedule, she enrolled in college at UST taking up masscomm because she believes in the importance of obtaining higher education.
Kristel is currently being linked with “Goin’ Bulilit” co-star CJ Navato, with whom she did cover versions of foreign songs that hit it big in youtube, but she says they’re not really a couple, only just the best of friends.
Now, Kristel is having a concert at the Music Museum along with three other Star Magic colleagues: Sue Ramirez, Maris Racal and Loisa Andalio. Titled “Four of a Kind, The Un4gettable Concert”, this will be held on July 8 with Star Magic co-artists as their special guests.
