JAMES REID and his camp should be alarmed with the spate of negative publicity coming out about him these days. First is the feedback on the photo of him hugging a friend of Nadine Lustre named Mika, which was just a friendly hug but malicious bashers still found enough reason to hate him.
Nadine herself is so pissed she answered back in her own account: “I’m sorry, but seriously, WTF are you all going on about? Talking shit about my best friend? Your minds belong to the gutter!”
There’s also a story that James has become difficult to deal with because of the pesky interference of his relatives who act like they know better on how to run his career. But even more damaging is that he failed to report on the set of “Showtime” to do a special number with Nadine because he allegedly got so drunk the night before.
Some folks are even insinuating that he has a drinking problem. Some concerned fans declared that they’re disgruntled with James’ unprofessional behavior and it would better for him and Nadine to just leave “Showtime” since he’s absent most of the time anyway.
Let’s face it, “Showtime” doesn’t really need the JaDine love team as they already have existing competent hosts. The truth is JaDine needs the show more as that’s their only regular exposure as of now on TV since ABS-CBN has not given them any new soap after their last one, “Till I Met You”, didn’t rate as well as expected like their first one, “On the Wings of Love”.JaDine should also bear in mind that ABS-CBN is currently cultivating more new love teams in their camp like McLisse and MayWard and these younger tandems can easily overtake and eclipse them in terms of popularity.
