“Hindi ako makapaniwala when I was told kasama ako sa list,” she says. “Parang nakaka-pressure but I’ll just use it as an incentive to motivate me to become a better actress. And to be included with also my parents in it, it’s such an honor.”
Is she happy with GMA? “Oo naman. After I did ‘Oh My Mama’, isinali nila ako sa ‘Encantadia’, which I really enjoyed doing. Ngayon, panay rin ang guesting ko sa iba’t ibang shows like ‘Dear Uge’, ‘Magpakailanman’ at malapit na raw sa ‘Pepito Manaloto’.”
‘Pepito’ has Jake Vargas as a regular member of the cast and it’s common knowledge that they’re now playing beautiful music together. Has she introduced him to her parents? “To my mom, yes. They’re okay naman. But my dad has yet to meet him.”
Has she met Jake’s family who lives in Olongapo? “Yes, nung birthday niya last July 9, isinama niya ako sa kanila. It took us four hours to get there kasi sobrang traffic. I met his folks at mabait silang lahat.”
