LOVI POE has three sexy co-stars supporting her in “Woke Up Like This”: Cora Waddell, Dione Monsanto and Yana Asistio. Cora and Yana play her friends while Dione is her rival as the country’s top model.
Cora has a Filipina mom and an American dad. She lives in Florida for 12 years before she and her mom moved to Bulacan 8 years ago. Her full name is Coralyn Roberto Waddell. She started as a fashion and TV commercial model then joined the last season of Pinoy Big Brother.
She’s beauty queen material but she said she had a bad experience when she once tried to join a pageant and got bullied, so she now prefers to be an “artista”. She has played supporting roles in some JaDine movies with Viva and now she plays Lovi Poe’s make up artist and friend in “Woke Up Like This”.
Yana Asistio is the daughter of Nadia Montenegro and the late Mayor Boy Asistio. She is a member of the Star Magic Angels and has appeared doing supporting roles in some films of Star Cinema, like “She’s Dating the Gangster” and “Just the Three of Us”. She’s happy to work with Regal knowing that her mother is one of Mother Lily’s former Regal Babies. In “Woke Up Like This”, she plays the stylist and friend of Lovi Poe.
Dione Monsanto is a Visayan actress who has appeared in regional shows in her native Cebu before she joined Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 in 2007 where Bea Saw won. She has since done several soaps like “Pasion de Amor” and “Tubig at Langis”, and several films like “The Healing”, “Swap”, “Always Be My Maybe” and the Brillante Mendoza Visayan TV movie made in Cebu, “Kadaugan”. In “Woke Up Like This”, she plays Lovi’s arch rival as a model. “Lagi kaming nagbabangayan at patalbugan kami sa mga eksena namin dito,” she says.
