CARMINA VILLAROEL, husband Zoren Legaspi and their twins, Maverick or Mavy and Cassandra or Cassy, were officially introduced as the brand ambassadors of CitiDrug in its big event held at the Marquis Events Place at the BGC Park Triangle last Saturday. CitiDrug is a one-stop shop drug store where both generics and branded medicines are available. It also offers food plus bills payment services and telco loading station.
“We’re glad to endorse CitiDrug kasi it has something for all the members of a family like us,” says Carmina who now plays Marian Rivera’s mentor in “Super Ma’am” while her hubby Zoren is the latest addition in the hit afternoon soap, "Ika-6 na Utos", making them now both true blue Kapuso stars.
Why was their family chosen as endorsers? “Their family being caring and nurturing as it is strong and united is just perfect for our brand,” say Dr. Enrico Sta. Ana , president of Xentro Lifestyle, Inc that owns CitiDrug.
“Our slogan is ‘Para sa Pamilyang Pilipino’, so bagay na bagay ang pamilya nila in instilling health
care awareness for the Filipino family,” adds William Scheirman, the company’s Chief Financial Officer.
Carmina looks forward to being a franchise holder of CitiDrug. “I’ve always imagined myself at the counter dressed as a pharmacist, kaya I’m glad that part of our deal is magkakaroon kami ng sarili naming CitiDrug store. Naghahanap na nga kami ng magandang location sa Pasig-Cainta area for our own branch.”
Under new management of Xentro Lifestyle since May 2017 and with 60 operational outlets, CitiDrug is looking forward to building 300 more company-owned and franchise stores across the country. It is now offering discounted franchise packages to the first 100 interested applicants. For inquiries, just email franchising@citidrug.com.ph or call 09277547239.
Going back to Carmina, her kids can easily be big stars if they’d choose to join showbiz like their parents. When Mavy did a dance number in “Eat Bulaga” a few days ago, he’s just oozing with star quality. As for Cassy, she needs to lose a bit of weight to be in better fighting form.
“As of now, mas focused sila sa studies nila at sa sports,” says Carmina. “And I think it’s better that way. Both of them are well behaved at never kaming binigyan ng problema. As it is, they’re now earning on their own with their endorsements and guestings. Whatever they earn is theirs and we teach them how to handle their hard-earned money well. We want them to learn how to save for the future and also to spend and invest it wisely.”
