“My stepchildren are 10 years old and they’re both very smart and very mature in their thinking, so wala kaming problema,” she says. “They were very young when their parents broke up so lumaki silang hindi na nila nakikita ang parents nila being together. Ako lang ang nakita nilang babae who’s with their dad as they were growing up, and now, we just treat each other like the best of friends.”
Has she met Sen. Chiz’ ex-wife, Christine Flores? “No. I don’t know her personally.”
Doesn’t she have plans to befriend her like what Regine Velasquez did to hubby Ogie Alcasid’s first wife, Michelle Van Eimeren? “Wala kaming communication at all. And I think it’s better that way. Para wala ng anumang complications. I really appreciate the fact that she’s very quiet lang, very decent. She’s already with someone else and living her own life.”Heart is very proud of the episodes in "My Korean Jagiya" being shown this week as they shot it on location in Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan, which shows a lot of old houses reconstructed there, making the whole place looks like you are traveling back in time during the Spanish regime.
"Ang ganda pala roon," says Heart. "Nag-enjoy nga si Alexander Lee sa taping namin doon kasi very historical ang dating and he's able to appreciate a lot more about our culture and history. Abangan nyo kasi I'm wearing traditional baro't saya and Xander looks dapper in his period suit at nakakaalis talaga lumabas."
