Kisses Delavin & Marco Gallo Admit They Started On The Wrong Foot As PBB Housemates But They Can Now Have A Good Ending As A Love Team In 'Loving In Tandem'

 KISSES DELAVIN and Marco Gallo are both discoveries of the last PBB 7th season, where Kisses emerged as second placer to her good friend Maymay Entrata. Now 18 years old, Kisses (fullname is Kirsten Danielle) comes from a well to do family who owns hotels in Masbate. She’s also a beauty queen who won as Miss Masbate. She was taking up accountancy at La Salle when she joined PBB and now, she is given her first movie opposite Marco, “Loving in Tandem”.

Marco has a Pinay mom and an Italian dad. He grew up in Milan, Italy but speaks fluent Tagalog which he learned from his mom and her friends. He joined PBB to know more about his mom’s culture. Dubbed as the Pilyo Bello of Italy, he is known in PBB as the lazy sleepyhead who always had a hard time waking up.

His original crush in PBB was Vivoree, but ironically, he’s now paired with Kisses with whom he had a misunderstanding earlier while they were both still inside PBB, making Kisses cry. When asked about this, Kisses says she’d rather not talk about it.

“As much as possible, ayoko na lang pag-usapan yan. We had a bad start, but it’s up to us now to make a nice ending. Lahat naman, puedeng maayos given the right time, at kung may effort, dugo, pawis, pasensya at pagmamahal.”

What can Marco say about this? “Tama naman siya, kailangan ng tiyaga if you want her back in your life. Lahat gagawin ko so we can be friends again. I told myself that even if I’d go back to Italy, hindi siya puedeng mawala pa sa buhay ko. I will do everything para makuha ang tiwala niya at ng parents niya.”

Marco was evicted from PBB on Week 12 with Kisses feeling bad about him. But now, they seem to be very sweet to each other during the presscon of “Loving in Tandem”, always holding each other’s hands.

We ask them what are the qualities they like most in each other and also what they don’t like? “I like it that he’s very sweet,” says Kisses. “He cares not only about me but also other people. What I don’t like about him is his long hair. I think he’ll look better if he’d cut it.”

“What I like about her is that kahit pagod na ang lahat sa shooting, she tries to cheer up everyone,” says Marco. “About her defects, I want to keep it private na lang. Noong una, hindi kami talaga masyadong nagkakaintindihan.”

Would Kisses be willing to change herself for Marco? “I don’t have to change for anybody. They just have to learn to accept me for what I am.”

In “Loving in Tandem”, which opens in theaters on September 13, Kisses plays Jayzel, the best friend of Maymay Entrata, while Marco plays Tope, the half brother of Edward Barber. Just as the characters of Maymay and Edward fall in love with each other, the same thing also happens to Jayzel and Tope. Will this also happen to them in real life?

“We’re not discounting the possibility,” says Marco. “Anything can happen.”

“But at this point, friends lang po kami,” says Kisses. “It’s better this way kasi we’re both just starting in our careers.”
