Kris Bernal's Performances In The Past Have Never Been Praised The Way She's Praised Now For Her Dual Roles In 'Impostora'

KRIS BERNAL is so thankful that she was given “Impostora” as her next project after “Little Nanay”. “Maraming nakagusto noon sa performance ko as a mentally challenged young mom in ‘Little Nanay’, pero iba ang impact ng ‘Impostora’,” she says. “Kahit saan ako magpunta, sinasabi ng mga taong nagugustuhan nila ang portrayal ko sa dual roles ko as Nimfa and Rosette. As a matter of fact, even members of my own family praise me, na ngayon lang nangyari. They never miss a single episode of ‘Impostora’, lalo na ang mommy ko na talagang bilib na bilib sa performance ko. Nagagalit siya sa sobrang sama ni Rosette but she gets carried away raw siya kapag nasasaktan ako sa eksena as Nimfa. Iyak siya nang iyak as my number one fan at super proud raw siya sa akin dahil sa husay ko.”

The fact that the show is a toprater makes it a bigger challenge for all its cast and crew. “Siempre, lalo kaming nacha-challenge how to sustain the high ratings,” adds Kris. “Especially now that extended kami hanggang January, kailangang magawa naming mas interesting ang takbo ng kuwento in each episode para hindi bumitiw ang viewers sa panonood. Like noong isang episode na gustong lunurin ni Rosette si Nimfa sa swimming pool so dalawang ako yung mapapanood na nilulunod nung isa yung isa sa tubig. Nakaalpas si Nimfa pero walang witness so people think she’s sick and just having hallucinations. Ang taas ng rating ng episode na yun and after that, binibigyan naman ni Rosette si Nimfa ng habit-forming na gamot to hook her kaya mas grabe pa ang pagdaraanan ni Nimfa rito.”
