Polo Ravales Bares Himself On The Beaches Of Dubai In The Drama About Infidelity Among OFWs, 'Balatkayo'

POLO RAVALES goes sexy in “Balatkayo” which opens in theaters tomorrow. He is seen swimming on the beaches of Dubai in just his skimpy white briefs. “Okay lang namang magpa-sexy dahil kailangan talaga sa eksena, so hindi nahirapan si Direk Neil Buboy Tan to convince me to take off my clothes,” he says. “Asawa ako rito ni Aiko Melendez at pareho kaming OFW’s. But she works in Singapore and I work in Dubai. Lingid sa kaalaman ng bawat isa sa amin, pareho na kaming may lovers sa aming place of work. Ako, si Nathalie Hart ang other woman ko at lover naman niya si Rico Barrera. Dahil sa kapabayaan namin sa anak naming si James Robert na naiwan sa Pilipinas, nagluko ito at na-involved sa isang sex scandal.”

Doesn’t he mind playing father roles now? “No, kasi 34 na naman ako, so okay lang. Maski sa TV, I’ve done father roles, basta maganda ang role ko. Dito, all my scenes were shot on location in Dubai. Si Aiko naman, sa Singapore, so we don’t really have any scenes together. Kapag nag-uusap kami, sa phone lang and we’re shown on split screen. Never ko pa siyang nakatrabaho so it’s nice to have


worked with her kahit na hanggang split screen lang ang exposure namin. Ang marami kong bescenes dito is with Nathalie who plays my mistress. Abangan nyo kasi hot talaga ang love scenes namin.”
On TV, he now plays mostly supporting roles, like his recent stint in ABS-CBN teleseryes, “Doble Kara”, “Ang Probinsyano” and “Luna Sangre”. “Okay lang naman sa’kin magkontrabida. I find it very challenging to do character roles and I’m glad hindi naman ako nababakante sa ngayon.”
