IT’S DECEMBER! The last month of the year, the Christmas holidays are just around the corner and also, the 3rd wedding anniversary of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes on December 30. Their daughter, Baby Zia, turned 2 years old on November 23 and Marian says their child is the biggest blessing she and her husband have received in their life as a married couple.
“Being a wife and mother completed me,” she says. “Wala na talaga akong mahihiling dahil naging napakabait ni Lord sa akin, sa amin.”
As a way of paying it forward for all the blessings she and her family have received, she recently went to the Luwalhati ng Maynila Home for the Aged to visit and entertain the old folks who live there. “Malapit sa akin ang mga lolo’t lola kasi, alam nyo naman, lola ko ang nagpalaki sa akin habang nagtatrabaho sa ibang bansa ang mama ko,” she adds.
She and some cast members of her primetime show, “Super Ma’am”, prepared a couple of musical numbers for them and she even danced her hit song with them, “Sabay- Sabay Tayo”. Of course, the senior citizens in the home for the aged were all so pleased and delighted.
Because of this, she got a lot of positive comments in social media for brightening up the lives of people in their sunset years. Meantime, in “Super Ma’am”, things get more intriguing when Marian makes her own investigation and finds out that Diana Zubiri as Jill is really a manananggal. What’s worse is that Jill’s cohorts have gotten hold of her family members and Marian now has to save them for danger.
Marian is also happy that the “Full Force Super Heroes” video of “Super Ma’am” uploaded on youtube showing her and the Super Teens battling the manananggals quickly trended and garnered thousands of hits and is now at the number 15 sport of youtube. You can expect more new characters to be introduced in the show to make “Super Ma’am” even more exciting.
Marian’s co-star in “Super Ma’am”, Kristoffer Martin also celebrated his birthday recently and got the surprise of his life when his fans, called Tuntunatics because he’s nicknamed Tuntun, visited him on the show’s set to have a instant party. “I was feeling down the whole kasi di ko talaga maramdaman na birthday ko noong araw na yun,” he says. “Parang wala ako sa sarili ko, then the fans came to greet me and cheer me up so I really want to thank them for making my day complete. I really appreciate it. Also all my co-stars in ‘Super Ma’am’ he celebrated with me on that day.”
