GABBI GARCIA is aware that some quarters look at her as a potential beauty queen, what with her height and morena good looks. But she says she’d rather wait for a couple of more years before she joins a beauty contest.
“I need to gain a lot more experience muna in life and in dealing with all sorts of people,” she says. “That will help me a lot to broaden my horizons para mas maganda ang magiging mga sagot ko sa question and answer portion.”
As of now, she’s just enjoying her youth by indulging in outdoor adventures when she’s free from work. She’s now into trail biking with her brother Alex.
“Biking is not only good exercise but it also makes you more aware of your surroundings kasi marami kang nakikitang iba’t ibang bagay, tao and scenery along the way,” she says. “It’s also a nice to have great bonding with my brother while we’re biking.”
No wonder she and her “Sherlock Jr.” leading man, Ruru Madrid, gets along very well since they are both very athletic and can do their action scenes in the show with equal ease. Their fans are hoping any romantic involvement between them will be rekindled now that they’re paired anew in “Sherlock Jr.” “We’ve remained good friends naman,” says Gabbi. “Masaya kami sa set. We’re aware that our fans want us to be closer to each other than what we are now. We’ll see na lang where all this is going. Mahaba pa naman ang itatakbo ng show, e.”

The internet is now full of glowing comments about how “macho” Ruru is from the new fans he gained because of his sexy billboard that is currently seen along EDSA.
