Glaiza De Castro Is A Relentless Avenging Angel In GMA-7's New Intense Revenge Drama, 'Contessa', To Replace 'Ika-6 Na Utos' On March 19

GLAIZA DE CASTRO plays the title role in GMA-7’s new tearjerking afternoon series, “Contessa”, that will replace the long running “Ika-6 na Utos” starting March 19. Directed by Albert Langitan, it’s an intense revenge drama and Glaiza plays Bea Resurrecion, whose new husband, played by Mark Herras in a special role as Marco, is murdered right in front of the altar and right in front of her on their very wedding day, just right after the priest has married them.

“I love my role kasi she starts as someone na malinis ang mga intensyon sa buhay,” Glaiza says. “Gusto lang niyang magkaroong mapayapang buhay, pero may mga taong hahadlang sa layunin niya at hindi siya hahayaang magkaroon ng peaceful life kaya mapipilitan siyang lumaban at gumanti. This is a revenge drama na maraming taong inapi ang tiyak na makaka-identify.”

Also starring in the show is the comebacking Kapuso actor Geoff Eigenmann, along with Jak Roberto, Lauren Young, Gabby Eigenmann, Chanda Romero, Ciara Sotto, Phytos Ramirez, Leandro Baldemor, Tanya Gomez, Dominic Roco, Karel Marquez, and Bernadette Allyson. Aside from “Contessa”, GMA-7 will introduce two new other shows, “Inday Will Always Love You” and “My Guitar Princess”.
