One reviewer even wrote she’s the only one who’s worth watching in the entire movie. We’ve seen “Sin Island” and Natalie’s edge over the others is her clear awareness that the best way to approach her role is not to treat it in an overly serious manner, so she spiced up her performance with lots of campy humor as a female faggot with a deadly streak.
She says her peg is her own gay brother. “Siguro, without my knowing it, yung ugali niya, nagagaya ko unconsciously,” she laughs. “Nahahawa pala ako.”
She admits that there are instances where some folks think she’s a transgender. “Ewan ko, dahil siguro sa carefree attitude ko, kung minsan napagkakamalan nga akong bading. I remember this incident, one night in California, nasa bar ako sa L.A. when a guy approached me and treated me to drinks then he said, you know what, you really look so great. Where did you have your surgery? Siempre, nagalit ako and I told him he stressed me out, kasi nga tunay na babae ako. Nag-apologize naman siya.”
Some folks are comparing her looks to that of Liza Soberano and she feels so flattered. “Kinikilig naman ako kasi sobrang ganda niya. Baka puede akong magkontrabida sa kanya sa ‘Darna’.”
And there are those who said she was once Enrique Gil’s girlfriend. “Ay, no, never. Magka-batch kami noon sa Star Magic. We belong to Batch 16, but we were never even became close kasi marami kami sa batch na yun.”
So does she have a boyfriend now? “Naku, wala po. No time. Sa sobrang busy ko ngayon. May last boyfriend was a foreigner, pero mahirap ang long distance, e. So magpo-focus muna ako sa career as of now.”
Now that “Sin Island” has been shown, Natalie is shooting a new movie, another sex drama where she figures in another deadly love triangle, this time with Ricky Davao and Diether Ocampo. Ricky is her wealthy sugar daddy who is paying for her plush unit in a condominium building. Diether happens to be her neighbor and they eventually fall in love, leading to some violent complications when Ricky discovers their affair.
