MAX COLLINS is getting a lot of good feedback for her performance in the movie “Citizen Jake” directed by the comebacking filmmaker, Mike de Leon. She plays Mandy, the girlfriend of title-roler Atom Araullo. She is a teacher in Baguio who felt crushed when one of her students was raped and murdered.
“It was a great experience being given the chance to work with Director Mike de Leon,” says Max who just spent the recent Holy Week vacation with husband Pancho Magno in Korea. “I was really surprised and very much thankful when I took the audition for the role at ako ang mapili. I enjoyed working with the whole cast, led by Atom and Gabby Eigenmann as his brother and it feels great to be part of a movie that shows some ills in our country and society.”
On TV, she enjoys playing the role of Darcy, the sexy physical fitness instructor in “The One that Got Away”.“I’m having so much fun doing the show with Lovi Poe, Rhian Ramos, Dennis Trillo and all our co-stars. Naging good good friends talaga kami sa set.”
As Darcy, she’s the one who takes care of her family, including a problematic brother played by Ervic Vijandre who is always borrowing money from her. And now, her role as Darcy has become even more complicated as she has become pregnant. Who is the father of the baby she’s carrying in her womb?
