Kris Bernal Happy To Join The Cast Of GMA's Primetime Thriller, 'The Cure', Teams Up With Non-Showbiz Bf To Put Up A Korean Resto

 

KRIS BERNAL was last seen in the hit afternoon drama, “Impostora”. She now joins the cast of the primetime show, “The Cure” playing the role of Mira, who will be infected by the dangerous monkey virus disease that is rapidly spreading across the city. But she will survive the deadly infection and recover then she will eventually join Jennylyn Mercado as Charity and Tom Rodriguez as Greg in their efforts to combat the epidemic.

“It’s great to be part of this exciting action-drama,” says Kris. “Masaya kami lagi sa taping. Kasama kong pumasok dito si Matt Evans. Maraming thrilling scenes na kaming ginawa sa taping and we assure the viewers na masisiyahan sila sa bawat episode ng ‘The Cure’. Enjoy rin akong kasama sina Jennylyn at Tom dahil pareho silang professional at very dedicated sa show.”

Like Jen and Tom, Kris regularly goes to the gym to work out to maintain her health and figure. “There’s nothing like having a healthy body,” she says. “Kaya kahit pagod ako sa trabaho, I still try to find to work out, just like Jennylyn na talagang sobrang sexy ngayon.”

Kris is also busy putting up her new business. Last year, she went to Korea with her non-showbiz boyfriend named Perry to look into the possibility of putting up her own Korean grill restaurant. She now has her own burger ventures called Meat Kris but she wants a bigger restaurant capitalizing on Korean grilled dishes which is a big hit now in the local market.

Kris is now apparently more open about her boyfriend who she says is seven years older than her. She used to be secretive about him before. But now, she also doesn’t hide the fact that they will likewise be business associates in the new Korean resto they’re putting up. So who says business and romance won’t mix?
