Megan confirms that Mikael has helped her a lot in this aspect. “Most of the time, I’m really just quiet because I don’t know how to tackle a situation or how to handle my emotions. Hindi rin ako sanay sa mga confrontation kaya I just keep silent.”
“Nakaka-hassle yun kasi kung minsan, ang dami-dami ko nang nasasabi, tapos, tahimik lang siya,” says Mikael.
“But that’s how I am kasi as a person,” says Megan. “But with him, natuto ako to open up para madala namin sa maayos na usapan ang anumang problema sa aming relasyon.”
“Being in a relationship is not always a bed of roses,” adds Mikael. “It has its ups and downs and rough patches, so it’s up to the both of you to communicate effectively para masolusyunan ang anumang problemang kinakaharap ninyo.”
Working together now in the same show, “The Stepdaughters”, has definitely brought them together. “We get to consult each other on how to better attack our roles, how to do scenes more effectively,” says Megan. “It’s a nice feeling kasi we can feel that we are helping each other grow.”
The show continues to soar high in the ratings game as the conflict between Megan as Mayumi and her stepsister, Katrina Halili as Isabella, gets more and more intense. “Basta tumutok lang kayo,” says Megan. “Kasi mas paganda nang paganda ang bawat episode at marami pang more intriguing twists and turns in the plot ang dapat nyong abangan.”
