Jed sat as judge for two seasons and he says the kids are easy to mentor. “They’re already good singers at nasa system na nila yung pagkanta so hindi ako nahihirapan. At hindi lang sila magaling gumaling kundi pati sumayaw kaya sobrang nakaka-proud. Excited na nga kami to show their talent sa mga tao when the show starts airing this coming weekend.”
“We want to make their experience in this show as fun as possible,” says Nyoy who was the first runner up in the very first “Your Voice Sounds Familiar”. “They’re aware that they’re competing with each other. Hindi naman maaalis yung spirit of competition, but we want them also to be friends and just enjoy the ride with each other. Kailangang maging masaya rin sila in a fun environment.”
Who among the ten kids will be the most challenging to teach for him? “I think yung Big Shot Trio ng Tawag ng Tanghalan boys of Francis, Mackie and Kiefer. Kasi they’re in a group and it has its own advantages and disadvantages. Bago ang element ng trio sa show and although individually, magagaling sila, they whould always bear in mind that they have to sing as one. Kasi ang mali ng isa, mali na ng lahat so they should always be united as one.”Returning to the show as host is newlywed Billy Crawford. The jurors are Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano and Ogie Alcasid, who are always kind and considerate. The difference in this season is that no one will be eliminated among the contestants. The kid who gets the highest number of points from the jurors will get one half of the cash prize while the other half will be given to their chosen charity.”
