Iya is currently preggers with their second baby that will be another boy just like their first born, Primo. Will they try to have a baby girl next time? “We don’t know,” says Drew. “It’s all up to the Lord.”
“We’ll be happy to have a girl but we’re okay na rin kami sa two boys,” says Iya.
Someone asks Drew if he’d want to be actor, forgetting that Drew has made a movie before, the first “Spirit of the Glass” directed by Joey Reyes. “I want to,” he says. “Gusto ko rin makatanggap ng comments from directors.”
He’s obviously referring to the word war between Director Mike de Leon and Atom Araullo that certainly leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
He adds: “I’ve been telling my wife na parati na lang akong host so I want to act para magkaroon naman ako ng kissing scenes. With her.”
“That’s not true!” says Iya. “Gusto niyang magkaroon ng kissing scenes, pero sa iba. Gusto niya akong bawian.”
And they both laugh heartily.
Chef Llena says “Home Foodie” shows that men can also cook. “Drew showed that the sterotype belief that only mothers and women should cook is not true as even dads and men can cook well kasi we feature easy recipes, understandable and we don’t even use fancy equipment,” she adds. “Lahat, simplified kaya mas dumarami lalo ang viewers ng ‘Home Foodie’ as we give very practical tips.”
