The grand champion is Princess Sevillena, 24, who is from Makati, auditioned on line and later became a wild card winner. She got P2 million cash, a house and lot, a brand new car and she’ll be flying to New York in September for a makeover package from stylist Richie Rich.
Her runners up are Kimberly Baluzon, 1st runnerup from Daet winning P500,000; Louie Anne Culala, 2nd runner up with P300,000; Carmela Arriola from Batangas and Ace Bartolome from Cavite, 3rd and 4th runners up, got P100,000 each.
They were presented in a special presscon by ABS-CBN last Thursday and each of them gets to sing live their original song included in their album. Princess did “Pangarap Kong Bituin”, Kimberly did “Alam Ko Lang”, Louie did “Sana Ako”, Carmela did “Pangarap Kong Pag-ibig” and Ace did “Kaya Ko Ba” which can be a potential anthem for brokenhearted people. They also have a collaborative single titled “Patuloy and Pangarap” which is a perfect theme song for all newbies aspiring to hit it big in showbiz.
In their concert, they will have special guests from the Kapamilya Network's stable of talents: Yeng Constantino, Kris Lawrence, Daryl Ong, and “Pilipinas Got Talent 6” winner Kristel de Catalina. Star Music executive Jonathan Manalo says this is the first time that ABS-CBN made arrangements to help the careers of talents from another network like Wish 107.5. “This is really a very special project for Star Music as it’s our first collaboration with the fresh new talents of another network,” he adds. “It started when they helped us in promoting our own stars and songs in their radio shows. They’ve now started appearing on the shows of ABS-CBN to help promote their album and singles. We’re now overwhelmed sa lakas ng pre-orders for their first album.”
Wish 105.7 FM is so happy with the successful results of their first contest so the search for new talents in the next “Wishcovery” search is now underway.
