“I play Intoy and our family is very poor, living in an island called Biri in Samar,” he says.”Umaasa kami sa sister kong si Vicky na nagtatrabaho sa ibang bansa. Tungkol ito sa mga taong naiwan sa probinsiya nila. Pero iba ang nangyari rito, kasi sa halip na kami ang tulungan, what happened is kami pa ang tumutulong sa sister kong nagkaroon ng problema abroad.”

How is it working with Direk Chito Rono for the first time? “I auditioned for the role at siempre, kinakabahan ako noong una, but excited to work with a top filmmaker like him. Naging parang tatay ko siya. I feel sobrang blessed, sobrang saya na makatrabaho ko siya. Dream come true for me to work with him at itong movie namin, isasali sa international filmfestival.”
