“We really want to thank the viewers who are loyally following our show every morning,” says Sunshine. “Nakakatuwa ang feedback nila sa social media dahil sobra raw silang naaaliw sa show. Actually, bukod sa amin nina Bea and Benjamin, meron pang another set ng love triangle dito involving us nina Zoren Legaspi and his insecure wife na si Bing Loyzaga.”
Another attraction of the show is the presence of hunky stars Benjamin and David Licauco, who’ve been seen in several scenes without any shirt on, obviously enjoying displaying their chiselled torsos. In his Instagram post, Benjamin joked: “Hindi ko alam kung mekaniko ba ang character ko o macho dancer.”
They might be rivals on screen, but off camera, all the stars are now good friends on and off the set. “Maganda ang bonding naming lahat,” says Sunshine. “When I had my birthday on July 18, the whole cast and crew surprised me with a birthday party on the set. They’re all really very warm and I really appreciate it. All of us are now highly motivated to continue giving our best sa taping para masigurong hindi kami iiwanan ng viewers at patuloy silang tututok sa ‘Kapag Nahati ang Puso’ so we can maintain our high ratings now.”As for her love life, Sunshine’s romance with the hunky Macky Mathay remains going strong. When Sunshine celebrated her recent birthday, Macky took her out for lunch and Shine posted their photo while seated together on social media. It seems Macky ordered so much food for her when it’s obvious she watches her diet to maintain her slim and slender figure which is really quite amazing for her age.
